Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to questions you may have about our wedding and reception.

What time is the wedding and where is it?

How long will the ceremony take?
  • We do not expect the ceremony to take more than one hour.
What time does the reception begin and where is it?
  • The reception begins at 3:30 at the pavilion and Silver Lining Stage in Regner Park, located at 800 North Main Street, West Bend, WI, 53090. The pavilion and stage are in the north central part of the park, about 150 feet west of the large parking lot accessible via Park Avenue, which runs along the north side of the park. In other words, while the address of the park is North Main Street, you should enter via Park Avenue.

What should we wear?
  • Dress is formal for the wedding. We'll be in our formal wear at the reception, but you're welcome to change into more comfortable attire if you'd like. Those who'd like to change can do so at our house, as we live right across the street.
What will we be eating?
  • Jesse's dad will be manning the grill, cooking up hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and brats. The reception is also a potluck, and will feature side dishes made by many of our family and friends.
Do we need to bring something for the potluck?
  • We would love it if you brought something to share, but totally understand if you can't, especially if you're coming in from out of town. Either way, there will be plenty of food for everyone!
What will we be drinking?
  • There will be soda, water, beer, and a few kinds of liquor on hand.
What time will we be eating?
  • Dinner will begin at 5pm.
Will there be music and dancing?
  • Yes! Music will be played from 4 until 10pm with plenty of dancing on the Silver Lining Stage. We may even do karaoke. Bring your singing voices!
What happens if it rains?
  • The eating and dancing areas are both under beautiful covered pavilions that should protect us from the elements, so long as a tornado doesn't roll through!
What is the bathroom situation?
  • The reception area has nice, new bathrooms. You definitely will not have to use porta-potties!
If we're traveling from out of town, where should we stay?
  • We reserved a block of hotel rooms at a local hotel, but our reservation was lost. We are making new arrangements and will get back to you as soon as possible on this.
